Hot take: is procrastination a form of pride?

Hello friend!

Are you scrambling at the last minute to shop or get presents wrapped this week?

Honestly, this is the first year I didn't procrastinate.

Usually I'm wrapping everything Christmas Eve night after the kids are asleep and feeling hurried and stressed instead of relaxed and excited.

But I actually wrapped everything a couple of weeks ago. And I felt so good afterwards.

So that's my new goal moving forward: everything bought and wrapped by the first weekend in December!

If you struggle with procrastination, you're not alone, friend. I've struggled with it A LOT over the years. And I still do sometimes.

This week's podcast episode is all about procrastination and HOW TO STOP PROCRASTINATING.

My hot take: procrastination is sometimes a pride issue 🙈

After you listen, you'll have to hit reply and let me know if you agree!

I am wishing you and your sweet family a very Merry Christmas ♥️

Encouragement for this week:

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.

— Jeremiah 17:7 (NIV)

Lord, thank You for the gift of Jesus. May we slow down this week and be aware of the most precious gift we've ever received. Help us to prioritize what is right this week as we celebrate our Savior. Amen.
