I don't fear the witching hour anymore

Hey friend,

I think we've all had one of those days when 4pm hits and you are just D.O.N.E. Maybe your little ones have been extra clingy this week, because you've all been sick and you're feeling completely touched out. (That was us this past weekend, getting over a minor cold.)

We can't 100% prevent a hectic afternoon, especially with little ones in the mix — anyone who tells you differently is wrong. BUT we can make a few small decisions ahead of time that set ourselves up to handle it better.

In this week's podcast episode, I'm walking through three small things I do every morning that keep 4pm from turning into a total fiasco. And don't worry if you're a night owl — being a morning person isn't required for this to help you.

If you've been feeling like you're the only one struggling at 4pm, know that there are probably hundreds of mamas dealing with the exact same thing at the exact same time, no matter what you've been seeing on Instagram. But I know that you're the kind of mama who's willing to put in the work to improve a tiny bit every single day and not let 4pm scaries drag you down.

Speaking of Instagram, I'm investing some time back over there after being away for the better part of the year. I'd really love to put a face with these emails, so if you're over there, come say hi or tag me in your stories!@multiplythefive

I always tell you I hate feeling like I'm talking "at you" every week, so this will give us a chance to banter a bit — and for you to tell me if you actually implement this week's challenge from the podcast!

Cheering you on,
