patience is not my spiritual gift ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Hey friend,

Well, fall's here. I'm not complaining. I've been yearning for the cooler weather and the brilliant art show that the trees put on each year. Sometimes it feels like summer will last forever, but I know that's not actually true. And as much as I can't wait to see the colors change, it won't be long before I'm wishing summer was back. Each season has its highs and lows.

You might be heading into a season of waiting or maybe you're walking out of one, into answered prayer. Either way, that season is going to change eventually. It always does. The most important thing we can do, no matter the season, is learning how to adapt and trust Him through all of them.

That's the heart behind this week's episode. I walk through a personal season I spent wondering if God had stopped listening, and share a few examples along the way of how He came through.

There's real power in hearing someone else's testimony. BUT here's something I find more practical: trusting His faithfulness hits differently when it's YOUR story. Reading about His faithfulness to someone else in Scripture is good and true, but remembering what He's actually done in your own life resonates so much deeper.

If you're in a season of waiting right now, I want you to look back. Where has He already been faithful to you? Write it down if you need to. And remember โ€” He'll still be faithful even in the seasons where you can't see what He's doing.

Also, I wanted to let you know that even this podcast is walking through its own season change. Starting with this week's episode, I'm shifting from weekly to every other week. I always encourage you to work within the capacity you actually have, not what you wish you had. I don't just say that for the heck of it. I'm following my own advice.

In this new season of homeschooling our oldest and more speech and OT appointments and preschool drop-offs for my middle, I have to slow things down on the podcast.

I appreciate you listening every week more than you know and I want to keep going, but I refuse to let the quality suffer just so I can check some arbitrary box of "posting one episode per week."

In the meantime, come say "hi" on Instagram. I'd love to put a face to the email ๐Ÿ’œ

Cheering you on,
