Hi friend,
Honestly… this feels like kind of a silly time to have wrist surgery.
My first workshop is releasing next week — something I’ve been working toward for a long time (you'll hear more about this next week). We’re heading into a full month with birthdays, travel, and getting our garden going again.
This is also the season where everything starts to adjust — school wrapping up, summer rhythms coming in. I'm trying to slow down life, but somehow it feels fuller at the same time. It’s a lot in a short amount of time.
And I have a feeling you might be feeling that too, but here’s what’s been really clear to me this week:
Nothing about this season requires me to do everything.
It just requires me to be intentional with what actually matters, because the only reason this week works at all…isn’t because I pushed harder or hustled more. It’s simply because I planned ahead.
I made decisions about what mattered most before things got busy. And I let other things go — on purpose. Not forever. Just for this season.
If we want to actually enjoy our lives and be present with our kids, experience real rest…we have to be intentional with how we steward our time. Not perfectly, but purposefully.
A full life isn’t the problem. Trying to do everything inside of it is.

This month, here’s what it looked like to Multiply the Five:
FAITH
Grace is something we receive, not earn.
We’re in the middle of a Bible study based on Grace is Greater, and it’s been really eye-opening for me. I think sometimes we believe we understand grace… until we actually experience it. I recently experienced grace from a couple of women in my life who don’t even know me that well yet — and it made me realize I might still be trying to earn what was never meant to be earned. (I'll be sharing this story soon in an upcoming podcast episode.)
MARRIAGE
Connection really is built in the small, everyday moments.
It’s been a busy season for us. My husband has been working longer days, so we’ve been trying to be more intentional with our evenings. Less TV (honestly, none most nights), more conversation, family walks after dinner, asking each other what we’ve been reading in Scripture and what we think it means. It’s simple, but in this season with little kids, the small things matter most.
FAMILY
Growth takes time—and so does the fruit.
Our little garden is coming back to life — blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, herbs. Watching the strawberries come back has been so fun for the kids (when the bunnies leave them alone 😅). But more than that, it’s been such a natural way to teach them patience, hard work, and perseverance. It’s making me even more excited for homeschooling.
WORK
Progress comes from planning ahead, not pushing harder.
This month has been a reminder that progress doesn’t come from doing more — it comes from doing the right things, consistently. My workshop releases to you next week, and the only reason I’m able to move forward with it during a week like this is because I planned for it ahead of time. Not perfectly, but intentionally.
SELF
Not everything needs your attention to stay informed.
If you ever feel overwhelmed by the constant news cycle, I recently found a free, faith-based news source called The Pour Over. It’s simple, unbiased reporting that keeps you informed without pulling you into the noise. I’ve really appreciated having a way to stay aware without feeling consumed.
A small encouragement this month
We can slow down and still do what matters. It doesn’t have to be either/or.
But slowing down doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from choosing — ahead of time — what actually belongs in this season… and letting that shape everything else.
If this season feels full for you too, nothing has gone off the rails. It’s just a reminder that we must be more intentional with what matters most. Those small, faithful decisions have a major impact.
Cheering you on,
P.S. If you’ve been feeling like everything matters at once and you’re not sure what to focus on, that’s exactly what I’ll be walking through next week. A simple way to decide what fits in your life right now and how to actually follow through on it, especially if you're a mom working from home or hoping to.
P.P.S. I'd also appreciate your continued prayers as I'm healing from my wrist surgery ♥️
