Happy Monday, my friend!
Do you ever think something really nice about someone, but then you just never say it aloud?
Maybe it's because you assume they must hear it all the time. Maybe you didn't grow up getting a lot of compliments so it doesn't come easy to you. Or maybe you literally just do not think to open your mouth.
I realized recently that I think A LOT of nice things about people, but I rarely tell them. Why? I have no idea.
So I recently decided to randomly voice text a friend I haven't chatted with in awhile, but she's very dear to me, and I just let her know what a light she is. How she is one of the reasons that I found my way to Jesus all those years ago.
For context, we met over a decade ago, but better late than never, right? 😅
It was random. But it didn't matter.
The Holy Spirit put it on my heart to tell her (shower thoughts!), so I immediately voice texted her after I got out of the shower.
She told me my encouragement had a greater impact than I could even know because their family is going through some trials right now that I knew absolutely nothing about.
I'm so glad I didn't "brush off" that feeling and convince myself that "she probably already knows."
So I have a simple mission for you this week.
The next nice thought that comes to you about someone TELL them.
P.S. If you listened to my podcast this last week, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I appreciate you more than you know. As a thank you, I'm leaving you with a delicious recipe and tip for the week!

TIP OF THE WEEK
Know where your time is going
If your goal is to become biblically productive, not worldly productive, do you ever reflect to see how your time is actually spent? Are you encountering lots of distractions? How can you mitigate those?

Encouragement for this week:
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
— Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)
Lord, thank You for the mama reading this today. I pray your give her eyes to see and ears to hear opportunities to spur another on this week. You know exactly what we need to hear when we need to hear it. Amen.
Spurring you on 🫶🏼
