Good morning, my friend!
Can you tell me how on earth it is now December?! Saying that feels wild.
As the New Year approaches, I'm prioritizing slowing down and carefully considering my "word" for next year.
Have you ever had a "word" as your north star for the year?
Right now, "intentional" keeps coming to mind.
I want to be intentional with my children. Intentional in my marriage. Intentional in the way I manage our home. Intentional in my prayer life.
I want to be intentional through my emails and podcasts for the upcoming year.
With that being said, is there ANYTHING specific you want me to cover moving forward?
Do you find these emails encouraging?
How can I be more intentional in the way I serve you each week?
One thing that will be different as I work towards becoming more intentional, is changing the day my email comes out.
Originally, I wanted this to land in your inbox on Mondays in hopes that it would encourage you as you start the week.
BUT...
I'm a busy mom like you. I know I need a word of encouragement more as I hit that mid-to-late week slump rather than when I start a Monday morning full of hopes and dreams for the week ahead.
So next week, don't worry. If you've been around here a long time, you know I've never missed a Monday note. Know that you'll hear from me on Thursday!
If you missed last week's podcast episode...
Last week was a busy one for us and I'm sure it was for you as well! If you missed last week's podcast episode, it's all about gratitude.
Although we often prioritize gratitude more heavily in November, it's a always a good time to actively live out gratitude. Give it a listen and let me know how you plan to live out gratitude more intentionally!
Encouragement for this week:
3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.
— Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
Lord, thank You for your good plans. For the good works You have planned for us. Help us to live more intentionally in every aspect of our lives. Amen.
